Mechanical Designer

Mechanical Designer focuses on design mechanical component parts and assemblies for test fixture of advanced instrumentation modules for current and future products.

What the role involves

• Design mechanical component parts and assemblies for test fixture of advanced instrumentation modules for current and future products.
• · Deliver complete work packages including CAD modeling, detailed GD&T drawings, tolerance analysis and Bill of Material creation.
• · Collaborate with the research and scientific community to generate and validate design concepts and technologies.
• · Support Design Engineers by implementing detailed designs, developing design specifications, and performing analyses to demonstrate design compliance during technical reviews.
• Lead design planning activities as input to the project master schedule.
• · Assist in the build of mechanical modules, evaluate them against test plans, troubleshoot issues, and summarize results.

Skills and requirements

• · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent.
• · Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a relevant mechanical design role.
• · Candidate must be proactive, results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• · Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
